As part of the capstone project for the Masters in Marketing at Purdue University, the task was to evaluate how Megaputer’s no-code product for web scraping, data analysis, and text analysis compared to open-source tools like Python and R. Additionally, the project aimed to assess the role of AI tools, such as ChatGPT, in enhancing the use of these products. The project involved analyzing the success of alumni in relation to their university's growth, using a variety of methods to explore the level of automation, AI assistance, and coding required when utilizing open-source tools versus Megaputer’s own tool
Action:

Conducted a comprehensive analysis of alumni and universities, utilizing data analysis techniques to answer critical questions related to the project’s objectives.

Employed API integrations and web scraping for automated data collection, ensuring a robust and efficient data analysis process.

Performed the same analysis using Megaputer’s tool, providing a direct comparison with the results obtained from open-source tools.

Developed a detailed SWOT analysis, identifying the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with Megaputer’s product in the context of its competitors.
